Jim Smith of Venice is running for Congress in the 36th Congressional District, which includes Venice, Mar Vista, and parts of Harbor City, San Pedro, and Wilmington within the city of Los Angeles, the unincorporated community of Marina del Rey, and the cities of El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance and Lomita.
